hey all

ive been having problems ftping my mp3s onto my xbox HDd and im *almost* certain that its due too long file names. Seeing as i dont feel like going throw 6,000 files and renaming them i wanted to find a program that does it for you.

I downloaded "Xboxify" from a link that i saw on here a few days ago (link is now dead) and for the life of me i cant get it to run. Theres a few other programs required to use it, which are WAY over my head so i figured id ask anyone here if they have had luck with this program or if theres any other programs out there. I know theres one called "filemod" but its not free and i dont want to pay if theres freeware.

Any help? a link? anything would be appreciated.

ummm. avalaunch is working on a solution to the 42 character limitation.
as for a program that renames files.. there are tonnnes. www.download.com should have what your looking for.
