Green Light Only Flashes At On/off

DANG!!!  

I've installed many matrix chips but i'm trying to install an x2.3b lite+ and the green light when inserting the chip will only flash at startup and shutoff.  i've moved it all over and can't even get light to flash.

I've preflashed it with another bios.

Do i just suck???  I suspect so.  <

apparently i just suck.  i got the green light after scraping around the d0 point a little.  now i my dvd and hdd back in and go to start it up but my box starts up and then a second after dies, and keeps doing that about three times until it finally flashes red/green.

is this FRAG?  

nothing is showing up on my tv screen.  <

I know my own x-box only flashes the green light for a second at on/off (like yours), but the mod chip flashed and works fine... Now if I can just get the  damn thing to find a brand of cd-rw it likes  :angry:
