Raincoat - Ftp Problems
« on: February 24, 2004, 11:35:00 AM »

I'm having trouble trying to ftp with raincoat.  I can browse through everything fine in telnet and backed up my bios.  I need to ftp the m7 bios in though but no matter what directory i go to i get "permission denied" whenever I try to upload, rename, move, etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Phloyd

Yes you can.  The linux kernel runs an FTP deamon.  Log in as guest/guest this gives you full rights.

I have used this method a number of times in raincoat .5  But i have to admit I havent tried it in 7.

guest:guest will give you full rights, however you need to enter some commands to remount the drive as read/write otehrwise you can just browse it, ill see if i can look up the commands
