first of all the easiest way is connecting the xbox and PC,

Get a crossover cable, hook it up on xbox & pc.
enable network in smartxx get yourself a FTP client software 4 pc eg. leechFTP(free),smartftp(free),cuteftp(not free),flashfxp(not free)

in your webbrowser type: http://IPOFXBOXCOMESHERE
then goto flash menu, flash Evox M8 & ED@chip (found @smartxx.com).

load ed wait 4 penguin & orange LED. start ftp client connect with login/pass: xbox/xbox

transfer over your unrarred dash to C:

DONE.

restart the xbox & AVA wil appear
