No Video After (trying To) Replace X360 Hdd
« on: December 12, 2010, 07:06:00 AM »

Hello,

After managing to get my hands on a WD1600-BEVS (or something like that) 160GB 2,5" hard drive I decided to put it in my Xbox 360, since these are reported to work with it. I read I should use HDDHackr to 'patch' my hard drive to work, and I did so. I dumped the HDSS.bin file and flashed it to my WD hard drive.

All went well until I connected it to my Xbox 360. The Xbox will turn on, but I get no video signal. When I put the 'original' X360 hard drive in it boots up fine. Even after flashing UNDO.BIN back to my WD it still doesn't detect it.

What am I doing wrong?
