xbFTP will work.  It has trouble transferring some games that have ridiculously deep folder trees (like THUG), but other than that it's pretty good.

I am sure this is in the wrong section, but there is a program in the slayers package that does this for you xbox<->xbox so look there and see what you can find. its called like xboxftp or something of that effect.

Avalaunch is probably the easiest way.  Actually I think UnleashX can do it now too.  If you can't get that to work you probably have network settings wrong or cabled up wrong.
