Basically any song you want is available as long as you can use the editor.

In the recent build of FoF ripping of the guitar hero ps2 disc was added so you could rip all the music from that into the game.

There is quite a big commuity of custom songs for this game online, just google frets on fire and see what you find biggrin.gif

anyway this would be great ported to xbox but from what i understand unless you have at least a 1ghz cpu and 256mb RAM the game will lag alot, someone will have to clarify that for me though

I think the xbox community would go crazy if someone ported this game.  Especially if they somehow could implement it with the guitar controller using the adapter.

I REALLY HOPE that some capable people work to port this or Freetar Hero to the Xbox. Surprised that a search for "freetar" on these forums left me with nothing. For anyone interested...
site: http://antonstruyk.c...etar/index.html
code: http://freetar.googl....com/svn/trunk/

Please someone start a porting project for one or both of these!

Freetar Hero is written in Java.

Frets on Fire is written in Python.

Neither of these languages currently, or will ever, run natively on the Xbox.  There is a limited version of Python in XBMC, but Frets on Fire will never run on top of it, for reasons I've explained in another thread.

Your best bet is to try to get these games running in Linux on the Xbox.  Otherwise, no way in hell.

Linux is an option, but you it probably won't have enough CPU power to run FoF.
