Title: Anyone Have Problems Of Emulators Not Saving Sometimes

Are we talking "instant save states", or the save system built into the individual games themselves?

In the case of the former, it's often a good idea to play a few seconds after making such a save, then make another.

In the case of the later, make sure you tell the emulator to exit the game it's running before turning the console off (or the saves will never actually make it to the HDD).

Sorry, ya built in game saves. I started doing emulator save states as well to get around the problem
