Title: Fba Not Recognizing Roms

Well, it seems I maybe have messed up something my .ini file, or am overlooking something. Well, I didn't even touch the .ini file. I put my roms in the 'roms' folder. CPS1, CPS2, Neo Geo, Others, respectively. CPS1, CPS2, Others, show up. Yet, neo geo games don't show. There is the neo geo bios in there; 'neogeo.zip.' Yet, the ng roms don't show up. Am I overlooking something? What do I need to check, verify?

They ware working before ? Always you can delate the saves or try to edit ini (if the paths are wrong)

Uhhhh....no they weren't working before....all i know is i have roms, and the bios in the same folder....

Then your neogeo.zip "might" be a wrong version, try finding another one and replacing the one in your roms folder with it.

if the neogeo.zip was wrong, wouldn't the files, still show up, and just not work?

hmm so all your roms are in /Roms/  and not in subdirectories? (bear with me I'm sleepy)

are your neogeo roms by any chance unzipped or rarred or anything?

Hmmm, no its the way FBA PRO has it...


roms\beta
roms\cps1
roms\cps2
roms\ng
roms\others


They are all zipped......

you are using the correct roms for the emu?
as fba is like mame and uses some different roms with different releases.there are quite a few roms that work with most versions though.

You mean the ROMs don't show up, or the entire NeoGeo display is AWOL?

Then it must be neogeo.zip related, try putting the neogeo.zip in just /roms/

also why did the fba-pro guys name the neogeo dir just ng  seems weird, since neogeo doesn't take up that much space.

also wasn't there a scan button? i don't remember anymore, i haven't fba-d in a looong time.

you can rescan for roms in the main menu of fba.
what verson of fbaxxx are you running?
