I have read the faqs and still couldnt find a fix. I am using a MA softmodded XBMC-2.0.1-FINAL-FAT-T3CH or as an alt boot, for which this is also not working, Unleash-X. Xboy advance worked for about a week, after not using it for a while I tried to load it back up again only to find the screen with an odd collection of lines, as if the horizontal lines were just thrown in an almost random order onto the screen. I can "navigate" the menus still, even though I can't seem to do anything with them as I can't read them anymore. I can tell through the jumble that menus are opened or closed normally, and the sound still works fine.

after changing the resolution to standard 480i (from whatever it was) the problem seems to be fixed.
Further details in case anyone else has trouble
