But I have no idea how I am supposed to install it on my Xbox's HDD. I tried burning it to a CD-RW but the Xbox reads it and just says "unknown" and when I open my D Drive nothing shows up. I also tried mounting it with Demon Tools on my computer so I could may be extract all the files from the .iso, but nothing happens there.
anyone able to figure out how to install it?

Mount it with daemon tools
Do a disc to disc copy (you can't see the files since its in XISO format)
Put it in your Xbox
Copy the contents of your Disc to your Xbox hard drive
run the default.xbe to start

Yep, I also used quix, but mine won't connect over my network at home... I used quix to generate an ISO form the DLed files. Burned that onto a DVD. The instructions specifically say that it WILL NOT work from a disc, but it will copy from one if you need it too. (It will also boot to the menu, but lock when you try to load a game). You then copy it to wherever you want (E:\emulators for me) and then reboot and it works
KI2 is a bit slow for me, anyone else?
I REALLY wish someone (smarter than I am) would do this for the MK series... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

i just installed killer instinct X into my xbox but it doesn't run
i burned the iso into a dvd and used file explorer on XBMC to transfer the files into a sub-folder in the emulators folder
then i go to xbox arcade and choose killer instinct X, then it gets a black screen and then it shows XBMC again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
am i doing something wrong? i'm kind of a noob in terms of xbox scene, i have a softmodded system and i can run the n64 games and backups of xbox too, this is pretty much the first time that something doesn't work on my xbox.
help apreciatted
