Gotta agree with you there. There was a post here a few days back where it took a few attempts to complete the flash process. Eurasia would've killed it.
Incidentally, I use KEAterm, with a handful of macros to make things easier (one macro automatically logs in, changes directory and backs up, then three macros assigned to keys F1, F2 and F3 program using red, green or blue EvoX M7 BIOSes).
I've always done it this way. Took the time to knock up the macros, 'cos I'm too fucking lazy to type it in every time! <
AUTOMATING 007 Tsop Flash Proces
I am sure many people use this trick to mod a xbox.
so now you can save some time doing the trick.
So this turtorial is not a how to flash turtorial, i assume that you follow the "Flash TSOP with no modchip or memorycard (by pSyCo)" turtorial
tools you need :
Macro Magic 4.1(http://www.iolo.com)
KeyTerm (telnet client) (http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Network/1027/)
why KeyTerm instead of default telnet client?
well using macro magic I couldnÂ’t automate anything with the default telnet client.
Here we go:
Step 1:
Launch KeyTerm once and give 192.168.0.64 as host, press OK.
http://picserver.student.utwente.nl/getpic...e.php?id=170817
Step 2 :
Make a macro in macro magic which starts Keyterm and sends keystrokes to it.
Follow the macro step wizard to set up a simple macro.
I named it KeyTermLaunch and gave ctrl + alt +q as Hotkey.
Step 3:
Editing the macro :
File Control -> Start an application or Document -> select KeyTerm.
Timing -> Start a Delay -> 1 SEC
Send Input -> <<Enter>>
Send Input -> root<<ENTER>>
Timing -> Start a Delay -> 1 SEC
Send Input -> xbox<<ENTER>>
Timing -> Start a Delay -> 1 SEC
Send Input -> cd ../../media/E/UDATA/4541000d/000000000000/raincoat<<ENTER>>
Timing -> Start a Delay -> 1 SEC
Send Input -> ./raincoat -r oldbios.bin<<ENTER>>
Timing -> Start a Delay -> 2 SEC
Send Input -> ./raincoat -p bios.bin<<ENTER>>
If you typed everything correct the window must look like :(except the last line)

| Ok now you are done, hit the buttons and look keyTerm loging to your xbox launching raincoat backing up the original bios and flashing the tsop. All done in 45 seconds ;) |

no no no... it's 007evox, not evox007. it comes bundled with the retail hard drive. I don't see why people do this raincoat thing... it seems like such a difficult process. shesh...some people... lol.
anyway, before you connect to the xbox with telnet, what do you have to do? Launch agent under fire or something? and can you just telnet into the xbox without modification? it seems kinda...easy... and do you have to solder the jumperpoints for tsop flashing? sorry, I'm looking to do this to my friend's xbox and don't wanna screw it up
don't mind me. decided to not be lazy and do a search (rather, looked at the pinned topic on how to flash it without the automation) and answered it myself. silly me.
/me slaps himself
well i got a lot of fun with this macro, all i have to do is press the buttons and then enter :P
i am sure this a lot faster and safer way to flash the tsop than evox B)
Ringz -> all you have to do is launching 007 and load your game, then press the buttons and sit down :beer:

what is 007evox?? can't find it on xbins...
i'm gonna use the bios in xlinux (i think it's evox d6). is that the same one?
The 007savewithevox is on xbins, I downloaded it last night. Can't remember where, though.
I don't trust EvoX when it comes to flashing, either. Bad-flashing an LPCMOD V2.0 is one thing (you can swap the chip, and it's happened to me before), but I don't fancy bad-flashing a TSOP, especially on a 1.3 machine.
Much better to lug my laptop around than a set of spare Xboxes!
