Those are just a few SNES and Genesis ones off the top of my (caffeine deprived) head. I'm sure I'm missing more than a few gems that I can't think of right now.

Track & Field (Arcade/MAME) - Amazing 4-player
The Settlers (Amiga/WinUAEX) - One of the best god games ever made, especially multiplayer
Dodonpachi (Arcade/MAME/FBAxxx) - Incredible vertical shooter
Battle Garegga (Arcade/MAME/FBAxxx) - Another incredible vertical shooter
Metal Gear 2 English hack (MSX) - Groundbreaking for its time and still great now
Ys Books I & II (PC Engine CD/Mednafenx) - One of the finest examples of the action-RPG genre

I was 12 when that first came out. That game has some of the best music tracks for an snes game. Granted there's not that much, but they're very memorable. My favorite tune is when your having a conversation with someone. So sleek!

Man...Does Chrono Trigger really play well...I have my softmod xbox on its way and thats like the main game i wanted!!!!

Pretty much all snes games work perfectly on either xsnes or zsnexbox (my favourite)
