Come one, come all...enter the House of Wah.  View the many wonderous things that it beholds...the UberWah64, WahDog, but the most impressive and newest addition to the House of Wah is (bumbumbum)....THE XENIUM GOLD!

Looks pretty good.  Much more sleek and un-noticable.  Can you notice any differences between the Gold chip and the others?

Silent Assasin,
It's definitely a different look than the previous - something about it being less computer-ish appeals to me.  The interfaces for the leds, the alternate D0 wire, and the adapter are pretty much the same, though in a smaller package.  It mounts more towards the side of the case; at first glance, I would say this would help alleviate any tug from the IDE cable.  

As you can see from the screenshot, it's got an XOS skin just for the chip and it's preloaded with 2.3.1.  

I'm pretty impressed with it!

I preordered mine about a month ago. do you have any idea when the first ones will be shipped out to resellers?  I can't wait to get it!

first off ewww you drink natty ice sick and that chip looks well put together and smaller in size!!found anything you dont like yet?? I preorderd mine a month ago when i sent my spider gx butt wiper back.anyone ever tell you your like a woman.....you like to tease and not deliever jk thanks for the preview!! can you tell us when those resellers are gonna get em so we can get our own eta??

There's nothing wrong with Snatural-lite or ice .
I'm glad this chip is coming out.  I recently hosted a LAN and 2 guys with stock boxes loved my Ice'd box.  I'll have them get the Gold.

Im just glad to see how easily it fits on the solderless adapter.  I was worried I would have to buy something else.
This is one I will be ordering as soon as its in the resellers hands.  Any idea on price?  or if there is an spi slot for the Skryar that is never coming out?

It has all the same ports as the Ice, and I believe the price is going to be the same, but we haven't heard anything definite. Maybe somebody who preordered can give us what they were quoted.

I ordered the ICE from modchipman after they were out of stock (before anyone knew it was discontinued).  modchipman said that my order would be replaced by the GOLD, but they weren't sure if there was a price difference yet.  TX also said this: "We would like to assure all those that have outstanding orders for Xenium Ice that these orders will be fulfilled by Xenium Gold stock as soon as it is has been shipped to all retailers."  To me, it sounds like the price will remain the same. but I'm not sure.

i preorderd mine round a month ago at bmmods and i mailed em 2 or 3 times and got quick good responses and one of the questions was price and they specifically said my "preorder" would be the same as the spice but that may go both ways as they couldve been refering to my order but not meaning only my order if you know what i mean.But if you have preorderd yours then youll get the same price as the spice but if you didnt then i dunno bout it!!ONE more thing how did you get the gold before us and not know anything bout eta's and such. The real question is whos dick are you sucking.....j/k

Myself and a couple of others were asked to try them out and snap some pics for everyone else - So, that's how I got mine and don't know anything about eta's and such...and I personally have never been a fan of smoking pole.

Thanks sga91!  Glad you enjoyed them!  IMHO my camera should be brought out back and shot, but if you like them, then maybe the ol' girl has some life left
