And you care because?....................
Because ever since I started in the emu scene it's bugged me that people always tended to assume I was a guy just 'cos I knew more about emulation and games than them. Even with my pic as an avatar it still happens sometimes.
I know it shouldn't matter...
but it does.
come on likkle, you can program in C for god sake!!!!!!!
now when you see someone on a forum who can program in C, do you automatically think its a bird?
I've been there before.
But still it matters that you know you're a girl. When you wake up in the morning and scratch your crotch, you know you're not scratching balls, so I say forget the people who think different and be proud to be a woman. If it was up to me, i'd rather be scratching something other balls. I find the male physique quite grotesque in truth.
As to being the in the emulation scene, you know its going to be a biased community in general because most of the people are men. It would be like a guy going to into a fashion club, and not to expect the girls to not think he's gay. You know the girls are going to think that something is up with that guy, and as well a lot of guys in the emulation scene probably see it in a simular sense. Not saying you should sit by and let it be, but its going to happen. I think most everyone here that is at least semi-sane believes you are of the female persuassion and being that way does not mean you can do less or more than anyone else. You've proven enough. 2 thumbs up.
So I say, relax a little. I've noticed things have been bugging you easily on the forums lately. Have a beer on me and let the good times roll....
I think the folks around here are more than used to that by now.
Took me like 10 minutes to think if I spelled it wrong, sorry Thraxen. Its supposed to be crotch. I will replace it on the original post.
And yes, even I have become used to it likkle, but still, people should be reminded of good things every once in a while.
That's a sexist comment if I've ever heard one.
I bet if he said "she", you'd be all over that one too
Who gives a shit?
There's users on boards called Ayumi, Britney etc who are guys and simple fans.
I knew a guy who ran a fairly popular pc hardware review site who's forums had a popular 'female' user. Turns out it was a ploy to get 100's of guys logging in each day.
So again, who gives a shit either way.
