I just want to put the roms into a folder do the usual iso stuff burn and play
which is better??
Also when fba is distributed is it normally binary form or the source code form????

I dont understand the question, you can download both Binary and sourcecode.

uh yeah you do actually
FBA-XXX can play the newer games such as metal slug 4 +5 and the new kof's
where as Kawa-X (the official version not hexed ones) cannot (authors show of respect, which you cannot say is bad)

...or maybe it just indicates that FBAxxx is better because it has more options.
I don't notice any slowdown in either emulator, but with the overclock features, why would you use KawaX over FBAxxx, there aren't ANY features that KawaX has that FBAxxx doesn't.
I'm not trying to force anyone to use FBAxxx, but I don't understand why someone would rather use an emulator with less features and support for less games.

Metal Slug 2 (arcade) lots of slowdown!!
Metal Slug 2 (kawax) if its a correct emulation of NeoGeo = lots of slowdown!!
Metal Slug 2 (fba-xxx) if its a correct emulation of NeoGeo = lots of slowdown!! (no slowdown with overclocking)
Apparantlty not everybody is aware of the fact that Metal Slug 2 suffered
from huge amounts of slowdown on the real Neo hardware.

Anyway, on the new version of FBAXXX it has that second "MAME Dump" xbe. So if you use that one then both MAMEoX and FBAXXX should be able to use the same ROMS, correct?

)as for the topic sake, mame ox has its limits if you don't have the extra memory and its known to use more resources then other emus so i can't recomend it for neogeo unless its a simple game like ghostlop or the puzzle bobble games

I'm happy with FBAx(xx), like you said, hands down it just has more options, and options are good, also, pressing the right thumbstick left only pauses the emulation in FBAxxx, unlike Kawa-X where it messes up your Aliens Vs Predator game that you've been playing for what feels like 6 hours.

I'm I the only one who noticed serious "glitches" in scrolling?
I heard someone talkin' about "screen tearing", this happens
in FBA a lot.
Still, I can't use Kawa-X beacuse of the graphic filters...
no hardware filtering, everything is blurry as hell.
Problems like these two make NeoGeo emulation on Xbox far
from perfect, and it's a shame, 'cause the emus are great!
I wonder when we'll see true RGB output and perfect, fluid
scrolling: everything else (like new roms support) is
insignificant. I know it's not a simple task, but it's also the
most important IMHO.

720p owns RGB.
