Title: Xsnes9x Bug
Post by: 195 on June 25, 2004, 05:43:00 AM
I am not sure why, but Top Gear 3000 will not play on the emulator.  No matter what settings i use, it will not play.  It loads up fine - the intro, select car, create name, etc...  But when you start to play, the music starts but the screen stays black and IGR doesn't respond and it pretty much freezes.  I tried multiple smc's of it with many changes in the settings and no luck.  Just thought i would give you a heads up!

Any ideas?

I don't think that game is supported by xSnes9x (or snes9x for that matter).

If I am correct this game uses a special chip which is not supported yet in Snes9x

Always try the PC version before reporting a 'bug' in the Xbox port.  <_<

Top Gear 3000 uses a custom DSP chip (DSP 4?) which isn't emulated yet, that's why it doesn't work yet.
