:grr: I just got an xenium ice today and did the pogo-pin install. I turned on my xbox and the fan started up then shut down 3 times then it was flashing orange. then i just took the chip off the pogo pin with the d0 still conected and booted up and it worked fine, it booted to the normal m$ dash....what do i do?

First of all sit down and stop crushing little insects to fill your angery void. Secondly this is a simple problem: Re-align the pogo pins with the LPC and make sure that it is completly secure and then try to boot. If it still isn't working then try holding the chip down while booting, if it works then obviously it is the adapter yes? There are a few tricks to keep it down but the most used and most hailed is the "Paper trick" use the search bar for that...now breath :)

i had a very similar experience but with a solderless install, read the manual, i remeber i went though it and it tells you what you did wrong and how to fix it.
