Is it possible for the Xbox to recognize a standard USB HID controller???
It seems as though the hardware gap for Classic Controllers like the SNES and NES has finally been bridged, with USB adapters now out for nearly all of these controllers...

So my question, then, is will software ever be written for generic USB gamepads such as these? If windows can recognize these with one generic driver, why couldn't the xbox?
I am curious to know what the programmers behind today's popular emulators would have to say about this...
Is it an emulator issue?
Or a dashboard issue?
Or a BIOS issue?
Is it even possible?
