Title: Problem With Ki Emu?

I've just recently tried the KI emu and it works but the AI is impossible! I put the game on very easy and they still do 10+ combos and block everything I do. Do the settings just not work or do I just suck or what? I mean on very easy I should be able to at least beat the first opponent, no?

You must be using a controller that has too much lag.... ;)  That's always been my problem.....  :lol:

Eh I don't remember it being this hard when I owned the arcade and set it on very easy.. I mean come on, the first guy doing endless combos and blocking everything on very easy?? I can't suck THAT bad.

Seriously the XBox port does seem harder than the PC version, or the actual arcade system. I haven't adjusted the settings in the test menu, but I've only beaten like 1 CPU opponent, but beat the entire game in the PC version easily. Maybe I'm just rusty.

Ok I just did some testing and there is NO DIFFERENCE in difficulty whether i set it to very easy or very hard. So something has to be up. Would a corrupt rom do it?

This has been my experience also, although it makes no difference between using Mame on the PC or the Xbox. I tend to think it could be the ROM when it was emulated. The worst game(for difficulty) that I have played is World Heroes 2. The arcade version was way more easier and relaxed than the ROM version. Really, the only way to fix this is to become a programmer and re-make the ROM, practice alot and become exceptionally good(as if none of us have lives!), or -which is my favorite- get a buddy who likes video games and play 2 player(Add some beer and maybe a couple of girls to hang out and watch ya'll play....you can even show off your modified xbox to them.....haha! I'm sure they would love it)

I beat KI2 on level 1 difficulty setting. The final boss is freaking hard even one level 1. It took me somewhere around 30 continues. No big deal though seeing how I'm not wasting any quarters.
