V7 until V11 have the same problem
V3 i wanted 2 try but couldn't get the savgames from V7 or higher 2 work, because I don't know were V3 looks for the savegames
Does anyone have a sollution... so the game works great but... when u get 2 ur first battle in the forrest with 3 characters it doesn't continue after u've won
please help!

I forgot 2 turn it off (I found out that it also saves all the cheats) so if u put a cheat on make sure u turn it off before the status screen appearce
so ... i got the NTSC version Running in V3 & V7-V11 ... BIOS runs little quicker
If anyone know how 2 speed up the magic... because It's slow as hell in BATTLES

I got just 2 tha point of takeoff with the airship... and the FMV hangs when the ship passes the camera
I though it was my copy.... so I DL anyother one... same problem... now I DL 3 different ISO's of the SLUS1025 version (ntsc)
all the iso's hang on the same point
.... on pcsxbox & epsxe (for pc) 
HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All my settings are OK.... that is devently NOT the problem... does anyone have a savegame/state aver departing with the airship after the first 2-3hours from CD1?

That was a problem in the 'original copy' as well (when I downloaded kalisto's release and played it on my Playstation). Try applying a PPF patch.
I'm not sure if this is the same spot as you though, I think it might be more than 2-3 hours in. The scene I'm talking about occurs right after you fight one of the 3 black waltzes.

But my other problem is that in battles the battle menu doesn't show up.... I looked at all the posts that covered this, but that does not seem to work for me.
- unmap throttle
- disabling all graphics and cpu functions
- enabling only the "old frame skipping"
But it all doesn't work.....
Please if someone has managed to get it to work, please take 5 sec. of you life time, to give me hours of gaming pleasure....

It says in the compatibility list that it should work fine.....
If there is no solution, could someone please send me some screenshots of the battle menu's, so that i have more of an idea of what i'm doing....

To have the battle Menus in Final Fantasy IX, unmap the throttle button

Configure controllers -> UI Mappings -> Fast Forward/Throttle
Then select it and press nothing and it should be unmapped....
Is this right, or am i doing something wrong????
Could it only be the throttle thing????
Iv'e tryed almost all settings, that people suggested, but the damn menu's just don't show up...
I've read somewhere about a plug-in fix for FF9 with PCSX, but i'm guessing that that's not in PCSXBOX...

did you try your iso file on a psx emu on your PC before you transfered it to your xbox? if its just a black screen it's probably something wrong with your iso file. Have you tryed any other games in pcsxbox?

You need to disable fram skipping and never press the throttle key. I get annoyed at the rate of conversation at times so I keep my throttle bound and when I come to something I wanna skip, I just press throttle save after it and restart my xbox and play from thier!!!I have started FF9 now with my same settings from FF8 and I am into the second CD with not one problem yet, my FMV's don't really skip at all, but battle speed is skippy.
To recap my findings
1. Make .bin files from PERFECT CD's (ISObuster works great)
2. NO NOT USE FRAME SKIP, including throttle, if you do use it, restart the emulator or xbox.
