| I have both UltraXLE and PJ64 on my xbox. I have all of my n64 roms in the PJ64/ROMS dir. How can i set UltraXLE to read the roms from the pj64/roms dir? Also i was wondering where do all of my save states get saved on the xbox hdd? thanks -haryy |

| That is easy.... first thing you gotta do is rename the ultraxle default.xbe to ultra.xbe then copy all the files to your project 64 directory except the rom and media folder. now open the ultraxle media folder and copy the background.jpg to project64 media folder. next step is to create a path for example Item "Play Nintendo 64 Games - Project64","f:appscpx-p64xdefault.xbe" Item "play Nintendo 64 games - Ultra64","f:appscpx-p64xultra.xbe" |

In theory, this always works. However, since both games use a "default.xbe" launcher file, when you exit a rom it always looks for "default.xbe". If it is not found, it crashes to the dash. Or, if it is found, it opens it. So you could exit UltraXLE and have it start the default.xbe for PJ64X, or vica-versa. There is currently not a way around this.... I even tried having default.xbe be the evox default.xbe, but that got me nowhere in a hurry. (figured it would boot me back to a custom dash that only has these two emu's as options, but it wasn't working right!) BUT: Iriez mentioned that you can rename "UltraXLE.xbe" to "PJ64-daed.xbe" and use UltraXLE as a plugin from PJ64X. Haven't tried it yet, but I plan on it tomorrow. (Nobody uses this daedalus plugin in pj64 anyway, right?) |

How would this help? Just curious... |

| just a theory of mine since in xbmp you can choose which .xbe you want to load, so you could rename the default.xbe for ultraxle to ultra.xbe or someting throw it in the directory with pj64x and just select which one you want in xbmp. however that was before i knew about that stuff you said. |

Uhhh.... heres an idea: edit the ini file that comes with ultraxle to point pj64x's rom dir for its own? |
