Post by: GLiTcH on January 31, 2003, 01:52:00 PM
damn... this emu is coming out nicely.. i just finished trying yoshis island n i saw less glitches than i did on xsnes9xv1.04.... the person doing this emu is doing a great job... sound needs to b fixed a little.. i noticed that the sound in xsnes9x is better but when it comes to graphics i use advanced mame on nester x n imo its alot better than point filtering...

i hope they they include controller mapping for each system.. one for nes games n one for snes
and different rom folders too

How do you do game saves in this emu?  I was hoping it was something easy like xSNES9X is, but its not.  I see 0 documention that came with the zip as well...  Any ideas?

What is the command during game play to save the game?  There is no documentation!  I understand where it saves it, just not the actual process to how to do it.  The xSNES9x menu is incredibly easy..

lets say u r playing SM all stars n u save n quit... all of ur saves files go to ur swaves folder under 90x26

Ok, you are not following me.  Im referring to SAVE STATES, where you can save your position ANYWHERE in the game, then just press something and you automatically start right there.  Its very common in emulators, and in SNES9x is freakin perfect (press in the right thumbstick for the menu, CAKE!).  I see nothing of the sort for Nester-X, which is a shame, since i'd love to finish the original metroid again, but not without a save state =(

heres a state for metroid #.. just dump iy on ur xsnes9x or nesterX save folder... rename it to the name of ur rom save file
