Bad roms?  Did you run them through something like Romcenter?

you must use 60 Hz for those games otherwise they will likely have sound issues...

in other words: you probably use PAL-50 Hz video mode... chamge it to PAL-60 Hz in the dashboard...

this has been fixed for b2. sound wont be scratchy even at PAL50, the problem however is the original arcade games were never meant to run at 50hz and therefore run a bit slower than what they should
