I just tried hooking up my Xbox to my Motorola SBG900 Wireless Router (the same time as my PC) and it allows me to go online with my Xbox, but I still can't access it through Xbox Neighbohood. Is there a way to make this work this way? Aren't the computers on a lan now?

Ok. It did work. I had to power off and recycle the modem/router and the Xbox was then given a compatible IP. Shit works even better than it did before, as now I have Internet access on my PC and Xbox simultaneously, don't have to drag the Xbox across the room and unhook it every time I want to use it and can transfer files with ease. Transferring files is WAY slower than using a crossover and I have a 100' ethernet cable running through the middle of my place, but no big deal.
Still, anyone have any idea why I can't change my IP and set it to static anymore?
Uh. The file transfer is actually slower than molasses. It's taking about ten minutes so far for less than a gig. Any suggestions on how to speed that up?
