That's some seriously bad Piracy talk there, read the rules buddy, i'd edit your post reaaaally quick!
Dunno if it would work, but you could use Phionex Bios Loader to load a hacked Bios.
you can get PBL and BFM Bios's from "the usual places"
If u really do 'test games in development' u should know that Retail or backed up games don't work on either Debug or Dev Kit's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, This BIOS allows u to do everything u want m8...
Team Gueux'NeT Present: 'Hack-DevKiT Bios'
...Here is a bios to hack only Official Debug Kit's and Dev Kit's........
With it you can run all unsigned xbe's and your Retail games.
...It works a treat, believe me
Not working for me.
Box starts up, then hits the BFM bios, seems ok, but when launching evox from DVD i get flashing red&orange. It did work once, but since running recovery, it doesnt work. Retail games are booting up as DVDs for some strange reason.
Is it possibly a DVD rom issue?
Hardware:
Debug Kit - 4039 BIOS
Latest MS Dash
Latest XDK Launcher
Thanks!
Oh dear.....
So r u saying that u have a 'retail' Xbox converted to 'Debug Kit' conditions???
...It's just u said that u fired it up with a BFM BIOS, which wouldn't be necessary with an official Debug Kit !!!!!!
...It gets worse as u then say that u used the recovery option.
...If u did, and u had a 'retail' Xbox, this has wiped out your EPPROM and overwritten your TSOP !!!!!!
If of course you do have an official debug Kit then everything should be fine
Team Gueux'NeT Present: 'Hack-DevKiT Bios' is a bfm bios...
Hi,
Yes, It is a GENUINE debug kit. And on a debug kit, the recovery disc works pefectly.
I have solved the problem now....
It seems that it doesnt like direct booting because it will try to boot from DVD before it loads the bfm bios. If i wait a couple of seconds after the XBOX logo and put in the reatail game, it works fine.
However, my evox problem must be eeprom related as its probably an outdated release. UX works beautifully.
I've even created a menu in UX that switched between the original bios and the bfm bios and even updates the dashboard linker on the E: drive.
So, yeah, good bios
I also discovered that the recovery disc works great if you accidentally use a non debug-kit bfm bios as the recovery disc loads its own bios, bypassing the one on the e: drive.
Good stuff!
Exellent news, enjoy
The problem is slightly attributed to how Debug BFM works.
It loads from CD then from HDD... but if there is a xbe in the dvd it skips the loading of the bios from cd and loads the xbe, but by then its to late to load the bios from hdd...sooo
turn on xbox..let it boot.. then stick cd in.
Evox hates Debug kits,
Try MxM, Avalaunch, THc etc...
THC works fine if memory serves.
EvoX loves Debug Kit's
