Title: What Xdk Do I Need?

I have "XDK December 2003 v5849 - Complex" and all tuts i see say that inorder to install the xdk on the box, you place a folder you unzip called "c:\" and "e:\" on ur box.  I get no folder like that from what i have.  I got pretty much the same thing a few times and all it is (i think) is a pc install.  Can someone point me to a correct tut or tell me the correct xdk i need?  Thanks a lot

If you don't know what to do at this point then I'd say that you have no business running the xdk. It provides no advantages to non-programmers.

You have to extract the recovery disc with winrar(it's a exe, but you can open it) and copy the file mentionned in the tutorials(if you dont have the tuts on how to install it, go in the tutorials section on xbox-scene)

i wunna be able to take screen shots, don't put me down cause i didnt know the exe extracted.  Anyway i wouldnt mind being able to mess around with trying to make a game or something
