Title: Xbox Virtual Drive

i think it would be very useful for like playing DVD in it's original format and to perseve the menu system and for other obvious applications of course.

sorry for stealing any1's idea. i didn't do a search. just a thought.

yeah that would be a really great thing in theory. The main problems are that xbox can only run one application at a time. You could have the app mount the image and read from it but once the app launched your drive emulation app is now gone so the executed app fails because there's no data there to read. It would have also been great to be able to mount a virtual drive on usb.... because memory cards are mounted as drives. I believe the problem here is there are no usb hd drivers for xbox and making them would be difficult and since there are so many different hds it would get redundant. Also, I may be wrong here but I think the xbox can only address 32 megabytes of usb memory. Unless there's a workaround or I am wrong or there's just plain another solution... I don't think this is gonna happen.
