wink.gif). If I install the XDK BIOS and DASH, do I have to install XDK software on my PC. Also, will I be able to play (and take screenshots of) both originaland backup games.

I know with the 5696 version (dont remember the old ones) you have 2 options when you install
1) install everything (requires vs .net)
2) install just "support" apps

I am assuming the 2nd would just install the gdfimage, bundler, etc, as well the option to install the xbox neighborhood shell extenstions, which makes it really easy to take screenshots.

EDIT: and yes, you can take screenshots of both retail and backups, but be aware that no debug bios does the 'on the fly patching' that you may be used to with an xecuter or evox bios.

I use CraXtion to make my ISOs. That does the patching anyway, right?

If you check the little box to 'patch xbe', then yes, it patches it.
