Title: Wierd Bug, Please Help.
Post by: regulater7 on July 26, 2003, 02:49:00 PM
Well i just recently added a EVOLUTIONX Tab on my MSDASHBOARD. It works fine, dash loads, no errors, etc. so when i hit the EVOX TAB, the evolutionx dash loads, like it should. then i FTP imto the Xbox, everythings fine, but when i go to D drive, instead of veiwing the contents of a Game, or DVD, or w/e media i have in there, it views the FOLDER EVOX is in, which is C: drive right now. i have put evox on F drive, E drive etc, it doesnt matter what ever folder EVOX is in, it makes the D drive view the evox files...? why? if i load evox on a cd, the d drive works fine, also when evox was my normall dash it worked fine. so why would this be? i hope thats understood, im kinda hungover, and kinda frustrated, i made the EVOX tab so i could have the same look and feel of the XBOX, i dont want to put in a EVOX CD everytime i want to backup a game. anyone else have this problem? thanks

Could there be away to defeat this by writing an xbe that uses the IODeleteSymbolicLink command and then loads the evo-x xbe? (MS dash calls new xbe which deletes drive mapping and calls evo-x)
