highly doubt it, would be awesome but just would have to change so much code on the xbox. i will cross my fingers but it would just be too much work

this maybe stupid, but what about creating a dual boot, example most new chips come with 4 banks of 256k, cant we create a program, so it will ask what bios we want to run from.  so we can run cromwell so we can have however many hdd, in it, or run a xbox bios that will switch back to normal, something along that line.

in theory - if the drive was either brand new or wiped with all 0's, and the config sector manually added - shouldn't it see the drive ? it's not like the xbox sees the dvd drive as anything more as another logical drive - games don't refer to the drive in lba sectors as in a ps2 - just another drive. having a hd to play with i'll give it a shot and post whatever good/bad comes from it smile.gif

PS2 programs don't even deal with the cdrom like that...fio_fopen, rpc works wonders. ;p
The cdrom file driver sub-system does everything much like how the bios does all the low level for the xbox.

If you could even get the xbox the reconize the second hard drive as one big D couldnt you use somthing like menu-x to change games?
