Would it be safe to just patch all my xbe's before putting them on the disc? (I could potentially be running xbepatch on an xbe that didn't need it...)

It should be fine running this on any application. All it does, AFAIK, is update a few flags and data areas to "retail" state. If it's already in "retail" state, it shouldn't have any net effect.

Reason: If I am having problems with an app, I didn't want to have "maybe I shouldn't have patched it" as a potential reason in the back of my mind...

I know this sounds like a no-brainer, but it was worth posting my final results for those who find this information useful...
