Title: A Shot Memory Is To Blame For This Post!
Post by: dkoikadabra on November 18, 2002, 02:00:00 AM
Alright, I remember reading somewhere that someone (a |33+ hardware hacker, I presume) hooked up an ISA controller the XBox, thereby allowing him/her to add ISA devices on said controller. I believe he/she did it through the LPC points. Am I making this up in some strange delusion, or did someone actually work on this at some point?
If this isn't some strange hallucination, does anyone know the status of the project? Yes, I know the uses of it would be limited solely to *nix derivatives, but it's still cool.

Yeah, but I remember (or hallucinated) pictures of an ISA controller 'wired in'. I wouldn't be surprised if I made it up in my demented mind, however.
