Title: Future Of Modding/emulation?
Post by: Grendel on July 21, 2002, 12:29:00 PM
Thanks for the post.

Yeah, I have an Enigmah modded Box and I knew about the bios on the HD even tho I haven't fooled around with Evo yet.  I just figure if it can be done, someone will do it.

Does anyone know anything about Keyboard/Mouse support for it?  Long time ago I -heard- that there was support in the bios, but it was locked.  Not sure if that was true or not.

They are going to release Star Wars Galaxies on the X-Box, so I was thinking that they would have to release at least a keyboard with it, but then again, it might be all voice.  I hope it's not all voice.  That means that X-Box players would be separated from PC and all the others..

Do you have an Xbox mod?

We can already store BIOS images on the hard drive, and flash accordingly.

The N64 and psone sometimes can't be emulated properly, PS2 isn't coming anytime soon.

File sharing off of the stock 8 gig hard drive won't be prevalent - partly because it's a gaming machine, and partly because computers can handle that, whilst the xbox is a nice *dedicated* computer, for your gaming pleasure.
