I posted this in a reply to someone elses topic... but now I'm really curious about it
Is it possible to make a flash program just for Homebrews/Xtender ??? I just dont want to get a new bios version every month, open up the box, pull my chip, open up my computer, then reflash the chip, etc.
Just a Uniflash *like* program the is burn onto a CD with the new bios version. And just a prompt:
Update to Xtender Code 1.4 ?
YES <<<<
NO
Seems possible since MS made a flash program for the xbox on thier recovery disc.

I wrote a program that creates a disk that allows you to flash easy.. you just run it, it creates the disk and you boot to it.. Menu driven flash.

Um.... I dont think your on the same page....
I want to see a xbox flash program that the xbox runs and updates a homebrew/Xtender mod.
I am well capable of using a PC flash program, its just a pain in the @$$ for me to open my xbox and my computer up

I hope what you want is impossible. If it's possible to write a flashing program for the retail xbox, what's to stop MS from putting it on every game they release from now on?
