I dont know if this has already come up, Im sure it has,
but why not hook the Xbox DVD drive to a pc using the xbox ATA
cable?? same cable right??
Just open case of xbox, leave power plugged into xbox motherboard,
and disconnect the ata cable from HD and plug to PC. And try and
rip games to your local HD??
Maybe im late on this?!? Any thoughts??

Been tried, is being done.

So, is there anything more to ripping games than just hooking the xbox dvd drive to your pc and reading from it? What about drivers?

so now this is being done and is working successfully???? I find it hard to believe that something that seems so easy would work, however, if it is could someone please hok me up with some info about it cuz my dvd brner will be here in about a week. Thanks.
