Well, support for the 1.6 version xbox is finally beginning to shape up. After much hassling, I managed to get ShALLaX to make a patch to integrate the latest video drivers from the xbox-linux CVS into a new kernel. After playing test dummy for the better part of two days, (And after about 8 different kernel compiles...) Everything is finally now working!
For now it's only 480p, but my oh my does 480p look good compared to craptacular Composite 480i
ShALLaX is looking for people with X2VGAs to test this and provide feedback as well...
NOTE: To install this all 1.6 owners need to do is run magic in gentoox. Two reboots later and you can enjoy b-e-a-utiful 480p

NOTE: Cromwell/Xromwell wont have any video in HDTV mode, so upon booting it you'll just get garbled video. After 10 seconds, linux will boot, or you can speed it up by just pressing A on an X pad. Once gentoox starts booting, the video will come up
