Title: Wanting To Re Do My Softmod, Maybe?

Well I am trying to follow a tut that tells me to boot into the default dash with the eject but it still boots into unleash and I am trying to enable the different resolutions for my hd tv.

I have the official Hd pack from microsoft. I was thinking of just running another installer but of course I dont have any games and I am pretty sure I hotswapped when I first got the box a few years back.

Any help on either redoing the softmod with out a game or what can make the ms dash come back when i eject would be awesome. Thanks

Depending on what installer you used to softmod the xbox to begin with there are different steps you can take. Can you list the files and folders in the root of the E: drive.

Some dashs allow you to boot the MSdash. Does yours not have that options?

Well playing around last night I ended up getting the ms dash settings to stick by soft rebooting with the controller rather then power off with the console. Once I soft reboot I changed all my settings in unleash and xbmc and they stuck.

So thanks for the info guys, nice to know there is still a xbox scene happening.
