What error code do you get? Yes you can hot swap with your chipped xbox.

Ahh finally got it working. It was a chore but I basically copied the whole C and E drives from the modded box to the unmodded one and it worked.

The exploit code info must have transferred sometime during my trials with hotswapping with a PC.

It's good to go now.
