Title: Frag And Other Strange Activity With Ndure'd Xbox

So, long story short, I've had this xbox for a long time and I've had various mods on it. Currently it has/had NDURE installed on it and it has worked happily alongside XBMC giving my parents access to their media on our networked pc etc etc.

But, last night they were watching a movie and about half way through it froze and "locked up"... Upon restart it yielded an error '21'. The dash is/was/should be fine. I tried to put SC in it to replace the dash just in case, but it loads the 'X' logo and after a minute or two (literally minutes) the Microsoft logo shows up... and then Laaaater it "crashes" to the 21 error and FRAGs out.

This is very saddening. My xbox 360 rrod'd last weekend and now this :S I'm not too happy. Any thoughts? If it were the DVD drive then it would give me that specific error code right?

Same exact symptoms as your having. It was a seagate 250. it was under warranty so I sent it back and already got the new one. Ever since I have been watching the hdd temp more closely now. I put a 80% fan bin in the E:\NKP11 folder.


well shit. I had a ton of stuff on there that I can could will not be able to get back.
