If you used nkpatcher .67 ( F+G) drive.. then you need to format the G drive from unleashx.. Go to unleashx system menu, format and choose format G drive.. ( the password is Xbox)

Yes, I did use the nkpatcher .67 ( F+G ) when I installed Ndure however, I kept trying to format G in unleash but nothing was happening. I think I was trying to format a drive that didn't exist. I'm guessing when I formatted the new 500hdd with xboxhd... xboxhd chose to make one F instead of a F + G.

Hi,

how do you boot into real C. Are you using the Ndure toolkit in the Ndts folder? That one is loading another bios with the Phoenix Bios Loader. The Nkpatcher settings are no longer used in that case.

yes, correct, I was booting into the "real C" with the default.xbe found in Ndts.

You will need the xbpartitionner program to format the G partition since it is exceeding the 250Gb limit.

It should be formatted with a 32Kb Cluster size.

regards.

I did end up using xbpartitionner. I booted the xbox as normal so that I was using the virtual C, And then I used xbpartitionner and made a G drive and then made the F + G drives even at 243gb each however, I didn't see an option to change the cluster size and they are at 16kb instead of 32kb.

I still have the problem of, when I boot into the "real C" I have one Giant F Drive. I want to be able to read and write to the drives while in the real C mode or Virtual C mode. I'm just afraid of any corruption

reinstall the bios again just to be sure.. in ndts bios option select nkpatcher .67 or copy the bios yourself from your pc to C:\bios folder..

Hi,

if you want to access your real C drive, just add a file ShadowC_Off.bin to the root of your E partition or the NKP11 folder in the E partition. On the next reboot, you will have acces to your real C drive, and the F and G drive will be the same as with the ShadowC enabled.

F and G are partitionned with 16KB Clusters because they are both smaller than 256GB now. Some say that it is a better practice not to exceed the 137GB on the F partition. In that case your G will be bigger than 256GB and xbpartionner will choose 32Kb clusters automatically.

The location of the ShadowC_Off.bin file depends upon the nkpatcher version you are using.

regards.
