I recently read on a website something saying that it was possible to mod an xbox, using a exploit but without needing 007AUF, Mechassault or SC nor a physical modchip, just a brand new xbox and a PC, I just want to be sure, I dont really belive it, but just in case, is it possible?

OK do you have XBConnect so I can talk to you. P.S. I didnt think so either, but how does a softmod give you the ability to read a disc you couldnt read before? I am asking everyone who wants to be a tester.

the gamessave exploit works becuz it exploits the retail kernel by booting some hacked gamesaves. thats why they are called gamesave exploits. If it was that simplew to just make a cd and let that boot unleashx then i wouldn't be needing a gamesave exploit wouldn't I. If something is built with xdk it doiesn't mean it will run on stock xboxes. That's totally irrelevant. It needs to be signed with MS rsa keys and put on a pressed xbox dvd
