everytime i boot up my xbox, i can error 21, im willing to do the hotswap, but how would i get the harddrive to unlock ? and can someone clarify for me, if i can unlock the HD, can i start use it in a modded xbox and ftp files to it to fix whaddever went wrong? (and how please)

This is what your going to need to do. Since your xbox is unlocking the hard drive your in luck you can still hotswap and remod your xbox. Now do you have the orginal dash and xbox files saved? If yes cool if not just download slayers 2.6. Your also going to need xboxHDM and UDE1&2. XboxHDM UDE1&2
copy the C files from your orginal MSdash or from slayers to the C under linux in xboxhdm
copy anything you want in E over to E example /apps/bunch of apps. Place UDE in the linux folder. Then run the make cd bat file. Burn the ISO and you have a complete xbox resore cd. If you need more detail it's in the link at the top.
Next your going to need to hotswap there is tutorials around here just look. Right as you get the error pull the ide cable out since you xbox is now unlocked and hook it to your PC. Boot up with the xboxHDM cd and choose option 1. After loaded type xboxhd. Now you can chooe to rebuild your entire xbox hdd which will erase everything and remake you a new one. Or you can just rebould C. If you choosed rebuild you have a virgin xbox.
You can now either modd it with UDE or choose to leave it like it is. If you modd it DO UDE -UDE2 and it will ask you questions and do that accordingly. Once donepower off both your xbox and PC and boot the xbox up. If you see evox you did everything right if you don't retry same thing. Goto settings and back up then load your pc ftp in and goto E/Dashboard/Backup and download those files to your pc!
