What did you use to lock it? linux? Prolly have the highest security lol use dos to unlock it with the master password XBOXSCENE

You need to use XboxHDM v1.9 with your xbox's eeprom, to correctly lock the hd for use in a v1.6

I have a question about the master password and atapwd. I set my own on my hard drive just to make it faster to unlock but when I try and unlock it I get the error that its busy. I can unlock it with the normal password still.

The drive works fine I just want to unlock it with the master password to save time from typing that long ass one in.

I lock more drives.... therefore i have burned an image without the eeprom... u can read out the eeprom from the floppy ... so u dont have to burn an iso everytime u do it ....

Ifyou lock a drive using XboxHDM in option 3, with the lockhd -a
switch, then the master password will be XBOXSCENE

In which case you can unlock in atapwd

you must first unlock with master password
then dissable with master password.

It doesnt get much easier then that.
