@daiuk: dude, thats a dash feature. get ux or something that u can easily change video modes with (i recommends unleash cuz it wont fuk up ur eeprom.)
@tante gertrude: the default.xbe is PBL MEtoo. replace the default.xbe from ur current exploit with it (or do u have a chip? if so, u dont need pbl, just reflash ur chip but not witr a BFM BIOS!!) what exploit are u usin?
anyway, call the bios xboxrom.bin(so u dont have to edit the config file) and place it rite next to the new default.xbe. also put the boot.cfg file there.

LMAO! uhh.. i think mayb ur confused.... snes stands for super nintendo... and if u werent confused.... snes costs 15$ new, and i dont think thats an 'extortionate' amount of money

scimitar116: thanks for your help, i have a softmodded box and using the fonts exploit. i think i did that replace the default.abe and put the xboxrom.bin in there and i got an error 21.

nope doesnt work if i just copy over the default.xbe the boot.cfg and the bios. im still getting an error 21. the default.xbe is PBL? im currently running PBL 1.3 and that default.xbe is 1.6MB but the default.xbe that came with the metoo package is only 21kb
the default.xbe in the package is pbl meetoo
you hav to sign the default.xbe with xbedump.

I had to change my bios to get a game to work so switched to The M8 from the PBLMeetoo M8 Pack - Worked a treat.
However,
The Old bios (X4981) from ltools would allow me to use the localisation settings in MXM to force 60 Hz or even NTSC which is very handy as Pal 50 Sucks !
When I'm Running the M8 Bios this doesn't work it simply stays in pal50 is this a feature only supported by the Xecuter Bioses ?
As this is such a pain I've now installed PBLMeetoo as an app so I simply run M8 when I need to and then keep with the other bios most the time as I like 60HZ
Ever tried street fighter or snes or MD in pal 50 ! it's bad, 17% slower :angry:

Are you sure you have a 1.6 Xbox? The Xecuter 4981 doesn't even work with 1.6 Xboxes. :blink: Evox M8 is the only bios that works on 1.6 Xboxes (well the X3 bios does too, but you need an X3 chip for it)

Scimitar - help. I tried your suggestion, now my xbox locks up as soon as I get the MS logo. I've done the soft mod found
over here. I can't run games like Crimson Skies and Burnout 3. I got a little further with nkpatcher, but it locks up not on the load screen, after the ms splash screen - completely black. I got the latest metoom8 pack. Any help would be appreciated..thanks.
