Are you sure its not a 20GB hdd?  That space alocation would be correct if it was.  Often the model number on the hdd will cary an extra zero with the size..  For instance, I have a 120GB WD hdd and the model # is WD1200JB.

Edit: Very glad to see that I'm wrong on this one..

well i thought that the x2 bfm bioses supported lba48 immediately. i mean like i would get them and not have to edit them to get lba48 support. but i guess i was wrong because i just tried rhmenal's M8 Pack v1.0 of the PBL Metoo Edition which is an evox bios and it said right in the readme that it is lba48 setup. and it worked. all my space went to F. i now have about 183 gb on F and some odd ones on the three cache and C and E drives. just one more question. does this evox bios have igr?? i thought evox's bioses usually didnt. you had to use evox's dashboard igr. i dont want to have to use the evox dashboard. i want to use unleashx. so is there a way for me to setup the x2 bioses for lba48?? or maybe the evox m8 bios have its own igr built in just like x2.  unsure.gif

yes it has IGR

does the evox m8 bfm bios have on the fly file decryption so you don't need to run your games through a patcher to use them. x2 has it and i think it's really nice. basically i want to know if this bios is any less robust than the x2 bioses. thanks everyone for all your help.  smile.gif

you can't make a bios lba 48 compatible. It either is or it is not. If you use one that is you shouldn't have to do anything.

not all x2 bioses have lba 48 support. I though the first one was x2 4979 supporting it.
