Title: Any Software Memory Card Readers?

Okay , I searched and didnt see this anywhere, but anyone know if there is a xbox software memory card transfer/reader like the MS dashbaord.  I never cared enough to get the MS dashboard working , just wondering, I know there are some PC->xbox gamesave transferers.

no, for my soft mod i was suppose to hex edit the ms dash and i never did, but I figured there might be a piece of xbox software floating around that does the job of memory card game save transfers.

I dont think any exist.
Basically I'm looking for a piece of software that will handle memory card saves.

E.g.  Piece of software like dvd20x or XBMC

that handles memory card saves like the MS dashboard, it allows you to copy gave saves from a memory card to the hard disk.

I dont wanna use the ms dash if i dont have to.

in your original post you mentioned PC->Xbox transfers... for pc to xbox or vice versa you can use Xbox Saves Manager

to be honest, i have no clue on how to hex anything, I tried, and now when I click MS dashbaord, it goes to the evox loading scereen and stays there until i reboot

I opened hex workshop, and searched for the hex you told me to look for, and it doesnt find any occurances. more than likely because my dash didnt use the /fonts/ directory. they were in the root drive.

sorry sir, you've been mis informed, v1.0 D:4034 K:3944 didnt use the fonts directory. the only dir that it had was audio

Some xboxes just had the fonts in the root of C, mainly the REALLY old ones.  I don't remember if mine did or not, but I know that some do.

ok i got it working , i took the f0nts idea, but turned it around a little, instead of the fonts being xbox.xtf and xbox book.xtf, i just called then xbox.fnt and xbox book.fnt, and hex edited the dash to look for those. since it looks in the c: drive already, that where i put the font

you have a pre XBLive dash, that is the best dash for UDE
you do not have to hex edit anything.......
just rename the original xboxdash.xbe to msdash.xbe
and edit evox.ini to point to it....so simple

XMAN i tried your method and got a service is required, I am currently using my method, it works for me at least.
