total_ass: it's always good to show people your exploited xbox they think it's crazy to load N64 games on an xbox from loading a gamesave in something like 007... I love the feeling you get when someone thanks you after you put an exploit on their box for free... it's all good...
I think everyone here should be so grateful to people like rmenhal, ldots, PedrosPad and many many others that have helped to create the exploits as they are today... without people like this we would be nowhere.
Imagine what MS are thinking right now after each time they think they've fixed the dash and then bam, another exploit is found |
I agree with you completely, YoshiKool. My friends are in awe every time I load up Goldeneye for another classic round

Here's my thanks to everyone involved here, rmenhal, PedrosPad, ldots, and even to Mad_Gouki (tried his mod MANY years ago, failed, but it was a learning experience) Morden (second mod, I messed that up too), and finally to mkjones (my mod RIGHT before UDE came out, worked great albiet the clock loops since I always forgot to switch exploits). Huge thanks to you all.
I am making this topic an official tribute to the exploiters.

"Why aren't these guys working for us?"
It says a lot about M$ if normal ordinary people can find holes in their software.
Normal ordinary hero people

| An EEPROM, or Electrically-Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory, is a non-volatile storage chip used in computers and other devices. Unlike an EPROM, an EEPROM can be programmed and erased multiple times electrically. It may be erased and reprogrammed only a certain number of times, ranging from 100,000 to 1,000,000, but it can be read an unlimited number of times. Flash memory is a later form of EEPROM. In the industry, there is a convention to reserve the term EEPROM to byte-wise writable memories compared to block-wise writable flash memories. EEPROM takes more die area than flash memory for the same capacity because each cell usually needs both a read and a write transistor where flash memory needs only one. |
courtesy of google, enjoy
oh yes what a guess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well done, even i couldnt have guessed that!
how old are you anyway?, guessing what eeprom stands for lol
surprisingly enough 15.
rom - anyone could have figured this out.
p - programmable is the only thing that springs to mind.
ee - spose that was just luck.
hah
i was at maxgames yesterday (SJ tech muesuem)
i asked the RvB guys if they have ever considered patching halo to remove the HUD
after a breif explaination, all i got was a blank stare. the answer was "we're too lazy"
yeah i know what red vs blue is its that halo series made from the game engine. i was just confused to how that post randomly ended up in this topic lol. im not bothered though.
it illustrates how not well known exploits are.

lol,
damn u lucky to talk to them guys, they made sum funny shit
Do you know how they record those videos? Perfect quality, looks like they have perfect control over the action as well. My media center PC lags any console due to the tivo functions, so it's not capable of recording that well.
Those movies are hysterical though, hope to pick up the dvd soon.
video capture card.
they spend about 8 hours shooting each 5 min ep...
of course they are drunk as hell

Figured. Is there any such thing as a signal splitter? Like plugging a video cable into the cap card and the tv, so you can play on the tv and cap on the computer?
most tvs, vcrs, cable boxes, satiellite recievers, and surround sound recievers, have a second out put for VCRs
Awesome, thank you yet again CSB.
no problem
Indeed. The reason they get such great quality is because:
1. They have a really nifty computer setup
2. They use a real expensive video capture card. Probably one of the Pinnacle ones.
i didnt quite catch the name, but i think it was a canon...
prolly not though

ok, who cares anymore lol,

If anyone still cares, I think it would have been Canopus, they make some insanely good ones for Premiere.
Ok continue

ok..
i was thinking more on the web basis advertising.
hire actors and route the funds though and off shore account.
'nuff said
ok im cool with that, as long as you pay the funds CSB
yeah and get one of them payed helpdesk phonelines...
| QUOTE (total_ass @ Jul 26 2004, 06:04 PM) |
Yes, web advertising is much cheaper and easier. Also i don't think it would be wise to advertise xbox hacking on tv. |
yeah but, we wouldnt dive in first and says "we are going to show you how to play pirate games"
We would teach the viewers some jargon then slowly lead them through exploits then onto modchips and some other general stuff.
WE could easily make it legal and have every1 happy inc. m$ as it would boost there sales of xboxes aswell!
it would also boost piracy and game copying
well it looks like the evox team beat me to it, their site is much better than mine ever could have been anyway.
