I can understand his/her sckepticism, it does seem a bit too easy. I think it should definitely be a sticky. It's virtually effortless. Some older boxes with Thompson drives might have trouble reading the cdrw. Mine was ok, my friend is having difficulty with his.

6) After formatting, on Evox settings, it showed "free space on C,E,F,G,X,Y," as 0 (that's zero) 9) Also, we could not FTP to any of the partitions, we were denied permission to write or modify files.

7) When trying to ftp to the XBOX, it showed that the newly "formatted" hard drive now had a "D" partition as well. 8) In the D partition were all the files contained in the files contained in the slayer iso.

OK Im still confused? You just use the slayers disk to upgrade your HD? But dont the slayers disk only work with a modded (chiped) xbox? And wouldnt they simply 'overwrite' your exploited box?? Am I just being stupid?

Oh and thanks for the tip Haruno. I will probably do something like newegg.com unless a big double rebate Spoofee.com comes out soon.

you know, i read this thread thinking that this would be the very quick and extremely easy way to upgrade to a bigger HD, and i was waiting for the longest time for someone to verify it. after waiting about a month or so for reliable verification and not recieving any, i just lost all hope in this method and resorted to trying one of the "long" methods. it turns out that it was not "long" at all, but in fact was VERY VERY easy and took only about half an hour to do everything. i am by no means experienced, but if you are really waiting this long to see if it works or not, just take the time to do it the "long" way. i now have an 80 gig maxtor in my box and couldn't be happier (unless i had a 120 gig in there) in conclusion, i wouldn't try this method due to the lack of reliable verification
