My buddy tried to install a X2 Lite + on his v1.3 xbox but stripped the screw hole. So now he cant get it tight. What choices does he have? Is there any way to fasten the chip down other than the screw? If not, then would it be possible to install a new hdd that has a soft mod on it? Since my box is modded, i was thinking i could boot off a cd with a new hdd connected and then upload everything it needs to it. And then put that hdd in his xbox. What this work? Only problem I can see is that the hdd wouldnt be locked. Is there any way around this?
